I have started using tumblr to post links and the what not and have to say that it’s creators have got it absolutely freakn nailed.

This is definitely one of the best pieces of user experience I seen in ages. Everything is quick. The sign up process is super simple, the help text or rather introductory text is well crafted, has you up and running and imbued with the whole spirit of micro-blogging in minutes and the post process is awesome! I would write more and do step by steps or something but it’s not necessary. Just check it out!

I am clearly a big fan. Posts here will probably drop off a little until I work out how to port them over. So for the two people who actually read this site, pop over to petercostello.tumblr.com and follow what I’m up to there.

Yup. So its back to the default template for a while. I want to change things again. Yup AGAIN.
Its seems that creating new templates encourages me to post more so hopefully things will start happening on this front again. if your interested in seeing some photos you can have a look on Flickr.

This is the new block quote that should sit below image and to the right.

This photo is much more about testing new site templates than the actual image. The shot however was taken at the time trials for the Tour de France in London. I think this was my favorite of the day just because the cyclist is actually looking at the camera. Anyway, if the new templates work. this image will be larger and take up two columns where previous images took one. Let’s see shall we.
