Rocking outdoor digital

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Created by Muonics I think? They’re involved somehow anyway. They do some rocking digital work, lots of nice Ideas in there.

I love this! How good would it be to wreck a whole building. I haven’t done anything remotely graffiti related in years (too old and responsible, can’t afford to get caught more like.) but would still love the chance to put up the old tag on the side of a building. Maybe light and augmented reality are the way forward for sad old writers like myself?

Nice!!!

Changes again

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Yup. So its back to the default template for a while. I want to change things again. Yup AGAIN.
Its seems that creating new templates encourages me to post more so hopefully things will start happening on this front again. if your interested in seeing some photos you can have a look on Flickr.

Otherwise, I hope you had a good Christmas and New Years.
Cheers

DSC_2336

This is the new block quote that should sit below image and to the right.

This photo is much more about testing new site templates than the actual image. The shot however was taken at the time trials for the Tour de France in London. I think this was my favorite of the day just because the cyclist is actually looking at the camera. Anyway, if the new templates work. this image will be larger and take up two columns where previous images took one. Let’s see shall we.

All good on the hood

Retro hood ornament

Just a snapshot today. Wandering around Covent Garden, rather waiting out the front of a shoe shop for Jade and Claire I happened along a slightly beat up vintage car. I don’t even remember what kind of car this type of hood ornament belongs to. But I love it! It has a real super hero vibe about it. It says speed, agility and power without screaming “check out my massive wang!”

I don’t think there is nearly enough time spent on these kind of embellishments in the automotive industry any more. Not that I’m old enough to remember I time when these were the norm but cars just seem so vanilla in comparison to the old days.
