What the Hell… Live re-design.

Thursday, April 27th, 2006

Ok. So with not being able to make it in time for the re-boot, I’ve decided that I might as well just get the ball rolling and actually start the rebuild now.

Expect major tweakishness if you’re visiting during the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the folio is going to be most effected by the re-build, so if you are a potential client or employer and need to get an idea of my work, email me and I’ll mail you back a PDF of the folio.

If when it looks like it’s all done, you see mad bugs or freakish behaviour, please, please, please leave a comment to let me know.

Thanks
Pete

May 1st & CSS reboot

Wednesday, April 26th, 2006

So… I’m not going to make it. I’ve got hardly any thing left to do on the site but between now an May 1 I am moving house and also conveniently going to Milan. Whilst I’m stoked to be going to Milan and hooking up with Dean, I’m just not going to be able to migrate the folio content between now and then.
So sadly, yet again I will miss the May reboot. Oh well. Expect the redesign in the first or second week of May:(

Re Designing

Urgh… So it’s been over a year with the site in it’s current incarnation and what I was originally quite happy with, now seems tired and old. There is no ‘wow’ factor and the folio is in need of an update. So after numerous re-design attempts, I feel as though I’m finally moving in the right direction.

It’s taken a while to get here though. Lots of work originally went into IA and trying to fit loads of stuff onto the home page, only to come full circle and dice the lot in preference of a simplified format.

Kung Hei Fat Choi! or Happy New Year!

Apart from the usual stuff of taking quick reference shots or pics of bent things that happen day to day to show friends. The actual quality of the images is starting to grow on me.
