Have been wanting to put a mixtape together for ages. Even tricked around in garage band to make something more DJ stylee. But… Since I’m not a DJ and really don’t have enough time to trick around in garage band muxtape is totally the next best thing. So here’s mine, should probably be titled “living in the past”.

- A bunch of great images on ffffound
- I’m really loving ffffound of late, there is just so much inspiration out there, like this chair and this block type and this poster for Not advised and this beautifully crafted capital S.
- A nice idea for masclusivity
- InviteShare is a place to send and receive invitations to websites that are currently in private beta. Nice Idea!
- Cool! Data centre used to heat pool
- A new computer centre in Switzerland is making novel use of the hot air thrown off by its servers and communications equipment: the heat is being funneled next door to warm the local swimming pool. This is a GREAT green Idea!
- Nice 3D Mechs and Monster
- Really digging the organic nature of Zamakz work
- And Finally, Unleash the motherfucking moonwalk!
-
- made me laugh

So I”m currently in the process of breaking my website and then putting it back together and trying it all over again. This particular post broke it properly the other day, but the links are good so bugger it. Here they are again.
- Piclens
- A Firefox extension to turn web pages with loads of images into a rather sexy 3Dish experience.
- Beatboxing Dog
- A nice piece of viral for what I assume is a telephone company. A cute spin on Beatboxing.
- Spiderwick Chronicles
- A beautifully executed movie site. Quite immersive with lots of hidden goodies to find.
- Keming Noun
- The result of improper kerning. hee hee, Yes I’m a type dork.
- Redbull Flugtag
- Very cool piece of flash / papervision 3D to accompany Red Bull’s Birdman rally type thing, I could lose hours on this.
- More Porn via the onion
- Pornography-desensitized populace demands new orifice to look at.
- I’m a freak for chairs
- Flickr set of every chair at the Visual Studies workshop. Not sure what the Visual studies workshop was but I do love chairs and there are some very nice examples here.
- Some very nice photos
- I love the shot of the flag and ball in the roadtrip section which Mark assures me was taken by chance. Very Nice!

There have been shed loads of good links running round the office this week, some gaming, some photography and some just straight up bizarre.
- Phosphor
- Absolutely mental 1st person, Quake style, shooter. I’m terrible at this kind of game. Always have been, a general game for me goes something like this. "Huh, what, oh right, I wanna go over there. Oh, there’s a baddy, Why cant I hit him. Huh, What!" Screen turns red. But if it’s your kinda thing, go nuts!
- Everybody panic
- The simple things in life are often the best, or so they say. This is a really simple, some what frustrating, little game. Find your way around a course without hitting anything. Sounds simple but is definitely tricky enough to be addictive. I sometimes wonder about the kind of work that goes into developing blockbuster games, when something like this can be so entertaining, and it is literally moving a dot around a screen.
- Get the glass
- Beautifully art directed, rendered, scripted and thought out 3D board game about getting a glass of milk. You even learn some stuff along the way. So I went all the way through and completed it and they only send the prize to US citizens. Bummer!
- Crazy Photos
- These are mad, M.C. Escher inspired mathematic photo shopping. Part of me wants to make one, but then another says is there really any point. Is there really any point to anything? Just kidding! Let’s just stick it in the too hard basket for now. Thanks Joe for the link
- Cute T-Shirts
- Some nice little t-shirt designs, I particularly like the Star Wars abandon ship one
- Cool Google maps hack
- Easy little hack to zoom in further on particular google maps. I tried it and was able to zoom 1 increment further than the ordinary zoom. Kinda cool.
- Nice Motion graphics show reel
- Not only is the work nice but cruises along nicely to some funky old school. Don’t know the name of the track but it’s the track that gets sampled in DJ Kool’s "Let me clear my throat". Thanks Robi for the link.
- You Packing heat?
- Bizarre thread on cycling forums about carrying a gun whilst cycling. Because clearly, we live in a truly f*cked up world, or you know there might be bears and stuff around? My favorite quote is this little beauty "I feel that I am fit and aware of my surroundings enough that I can get away from most knuckleheads with my bike. If they can run fast enough to catch me, or if they surprise me, then I deserve to get mugged." Yeah right on spaz!.

- ColorJack: Sphere
- Killer colour scheme helper. Picking colours isn’t that hard but picking accessible colours can be a pain in the ass. All of a sudden your beautiful colour palette is turned to mud. This beautiful little colour picker can help take some of the sting out of your choices
- kuler
- More colour goodness. This has been around for a while and while it doesn’t at a first glance have the accessibility features of the ColorJack utility it’s still a very nice colour scheme generator and worth tricking around with.
- Thomas Allen
- Fantastic cut paper diorama’s made from pulp fiction novel covers. I particularly like Knockout and also love the movement and tension in Teeter
- Peter Callesen
- More cut paper magic. Some of the larger work is amazing. Although I wonder if it’s easier than small scale stuff. Hmmm?
