Amazing linkage from the internet. Try again
Sunday, March 2nd, 2008So I”m currently in the process of breaking my website and then putting it back together and trying it all over again. This particular post broke it properly the other day, but the links are good so bugger it. Here they are again.
- Piclens
- A Firefox extension to turn web pages with loads of images into a rather sexy 3Dish experience.
- Beatboxing Dog
- A nice piece of viral for what I assume is a telephone company. A cute spin on Beatboxing.
- Spiderwick Chronicles
- A beautifully executed movie site. Quite immersive with lots of hidden goodies to find.
- Keming Noun
- The result of improper kerning. hee hee, Yes I’m a type dork.
- Redbull Flugtag
- Very cool piece of flash / papervision 3D to accompany Red Bull’s Birdman rally type thing, I could lose hours on this.
- More Porn via the onion
- Pornography-desensitized populace demands new orifice to look at.
- I’m a freak for chairs
- Flickr set of every chair at the Visual Studies workshop. Not sure what the Visual studies workshop was but I do love chairs and there are some very nice examples here.
- Some very nice photos
- I love the shot of the flag and ball in the roadtrip section which Mark assures me was taken by chance. Very Nice!
Burble London: Sept 16, 2007
Saturday, September 22nd, 2007When released it floated up to maybe five or six stories high and twisted on the wind
Edit
There are much better photos at interactive architecture
Last weekend we went to see The Burble, a massive structure of a thousand or so balloons containing LEDs that create patterns of light across the surface of the structure. This pic is during it’s preparation before it was released so to speak.
When released it floated up to maybe five or six stories high and twisted on the wind whilst being held down by a bunch of people at one end.
Waterloo Sunset
Sunday, September 16th, 2007Haven’t been particularly inspired to take any photos for a while
Haven’t posted anything in ages, haven’t even been particularly inspired to take any photos for a while. Not sure why, maybe just busy at work or something. I have, however, been rocking on my bike and after a couple of falls, am beginning to get used to being locked into my pedals / cleats.
This pic was taken after racing across Waterloo bridge and scrambling over fences in the afore mentioned cleats to catch the sunset before it was gone. I had about 2 minutes of amazing light before it all started to fade and then it was back to the trip home.
Test of stamina and new CSS templates
Sunday, August 12th, 2007This is the new block quote that should sit below image and to the right.
This photo is much more about testing new site templates than the actual image. The shot however was taken at the time trials for the Tour de France in London. I think this was my favorite of the day just because the cyclist is actually looking at the camera. Anyway, if the new templates work. this image will be larger and take up two columns where previous images took one. Let’s see shall we.
