Yup. So its back to the default template for a while. I want to change things again. Yup AGAIN.
Its seems that creating new templates encourages me to post more so hopefully things will start happening on this front again. if your interested in seeing some photos you can have a look on Flickr.

Otherwise, I hope you had a good Christmas and New Years.

Facebook and the found purse

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

Last week I happened to find a purse on my way home from work. Some poor lass had obviously had her bag stolen and rifled through and then had the various contents thrown away all over Islington. There was bugger all left in it other than a Gym membership, a couple of gift cards, some business cards and a couple of passport photos.

I called the Gym with a membership number and a name from the back of a passport photo to see if they could get in touch with her but they were unable to find her on their records. I called a couple of the numbers from the business cards but no luck there either. At a loss and ready to write it off, I realised that I had a name and a photo so thought I’d try my luck on facebook. Hey presto, first result was a match! So a quick email and by lunch time, she had her purse back.

Whilst very cool, it’s a little creepy to think people are so easily found. Still, a damn site better than going through the yellow pages. Yay Web2.0!

Moving to Wordpress

Monday, February 12th, 2007

After getting frustrated trying to upgrade my instalation of Movable type, I have decided to go to Wordpress. In doing so, the site is going to look unstyled and be a bit tweaky for a little while. But hopefully, all goes well and I’ll have a lovely site up again soon.

What day is it?

Saturday, April 1st, 2006

Woke up early today and decided to quietly kill some time on the web while jade was sleeping. Cruising through my daily list of sites and blogs and wound up at joshuaink to find this.

JoshuaInk hacked
Hacked?

Now, John is not afraid to say what he thinks and has ruffled his fair share of feathers around town so it’s not improbable to expect a particular kind of person to hack his site if they don’t agree with what he’s saying.

So after a moments disbelief I started to read the leet speak and realised what day it was. Really, I think some people have too much time on their hands. But you can’t help but recognise his skills!
